Hello.

I'm Ashwin Kalmane.

I write comics. Also, fiction. But mostly, comics.

I broke into the Indian comics industry writing for the Pulpocracy’s horror and sci-fi anthologies. Since then I've written superhero, horror, and fantasy comics for various comic book companies like Bullseye Press, Swayambhu Comics, Paper Sketch Comics, the Pulpocracy, and Holy Cow.

I've even picked up an award for best writer (bronze) for one of the comics I wrote. (Picked up as in won fair and square, not lifted someone else’s award from a table at the ceremony and brought home).

I also have a dog, Bark, who I love, and spend most of my days with. Most people tell me he’s imaginary but, I don’t really believe them..
